I remember taking a trip to Disneyland as a little girl…everything about the park was magical. From the flowers in the shape of Mickey’s head as I entered the park to the view of the castle as I looked down Main Street. I would watch the Small World dolls dance around as the clock struck the hour. I remember riding through Alice in Wonderland with my sister and being frightened of all the glowing animals. Of all my childhood memories, those that involve Disneyland are some of the most vivid.
Disneyland has gone through a lot of changes in the past 30 years or so. (I’m 34, for those of you who were wondering). It has grown, and changed…in fact it added a whole new park to the mix. Some of the old familiar rides have long since gone :(, and new ones have come to take their place. Disneyland will ever be changing, but it’s place in my heart will stay the same. Because of my great love for Disneyland, and the memories that will stay with me forever, I have decided to dedicate this blog to Disneyland…..The Happiest Place on Earth!
